Property Claims Adjuster

This role reports directly to the Property Team Leader Iberia

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, investigate, and manage Property & Tech Lines claims effectively and efficiently.

• Coordinate the collection and analysis of the necessary documentation for claims processing.

• Interact with clients, insured parties, and brokers to obtain relevant information for claims investigation.

• Make decisions regarding coverage of claims and payment of settlements.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders involved in the claims process.

• Meet established deadlines and quality protocols in claims management.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting, legal and risk engineering, to resolve disputes and assess risks.

• Prepare detailed reports on claims and present recommendations for their future management.

• Stay updated on trends and changes in insurance regulations and claims handling.

• University degree in law, business administration, insurance, engineering or a related field.

• Good level of English (spoken and written).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management, preferably in the Property area.

• Solid knowledge of insurance regulations and standards.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in computer tools and claims management software.
