Veterinary Client Service Representative

Join our compassionate veterinary team as a Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)! We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer- focused professional who is passionate about providing exceptional service to pets and their families. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our hospital.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Greet clients and pets with professionalism and compassion.
- Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries.
- Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accurate medical records.
- Process payments, deposits, refunds, estimates, and invoices.
- Enter and update client and patient information in Cornerstone veterinary software.
- Communicate appointment updates, wait times, and treatment information as directed by the medical team.
- Assist with patient check-in, obtaining medical histories, weighing patients, and escorting clients to exam rooms.
- Coordinate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, kennel staff, and hospital leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area, exam rooms, and lobby.
- Restock front office and retail supplies and report inventory or facility concerns.
- Utilize Workvivo for hospital communications, policies, and team updates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience required; veterinary reception experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
- Comfortable using computers and practice management software.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
