The Excelsior Fire District is hiring a Battalion Chief of Logistics and Professional Standards. This is the third of three full-time battalion chief positions, completing a rotation that places a chief officer on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Battalion Chief works a 24-hour Kelly schedule with two peer battalion chiefs, serves as duty officer while on shift, assumes command on emergency incidents, and supervises the Station 2 captains.
