Electrical Package Lead - Data Centre

UGL is growing its Data Centre business and is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Lead to help deliver some of Australia's most significant data centre projects. Working within UGL's integrated delivery model alongside CPB Contractors, you'll support the delivery of critical electrical infrastructure from design through to commissioning, helping clients achieve certainty of delivery, performance and operational readiness. UGL's data centre capability is underpinned by global expertise from ACS Group, HOCHTIEF, Turner and Leighton Asia, providing access to world-class knowledge and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of the electrical package across design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
  • Drive technical coordination of HV/LV systems, generators, UPS, switchboards and critical power infrastructure.
  • Manage key stakeholder, consultant and subcontractor interfaces.
  • Identify and manage technical risk, design optimisation and value engineering opportunities.
  • Champion safety, quality and high-performance project outcomes.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience leading major electrical packages on data centre, mission-critical or complex building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear and critical power infrastructure.
  • Experience delivering projects through design, procurement, construction and**** commissioning phases.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness and problem-solving capability.
  • Data centre experience highly regarded; candidates from healthcare, defence, aviation, transport, industrial or other complex building sectors are encouraged to apply.
