Northern Nevada Oral Surgery is seeking a warm, organized, and detail-driven treatment Coordinator to be the welcoming face and steady hand of our oral surgery practice. If you love helping people feel calm and cared for during a procedure that can be nerve-wracking, and you thrive on keeping a busy front office running smoothly, we'd love to meet you.
What You 'll Do
- Greet patients and create a calm, reassuring first impression from check-in to checkout
- Coordinate surgical scheduling, pre-op instructions, and post-op follow-ups
- Verify insurance benefits, explain treatment costs, and set up payment plans
- Communicate with referring dentists and specialists to keep treatment plans on track
- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and triage urgent concerns
- Answer emails, respond to our referring offices in a clear and precise manner
- Support the surgical team with administrative needs throughout the day
What We 're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in a dental, oral surgery, or medical office setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine, patient-first attitude
- Strong organizational skills and comfort multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental/medical terminology is ideal
- A team player who keeps a level head when the schedule gets busy
