Training & Development Manager

As the Training Manager , you will develop and execute individualized and group learning programs that address specific business needs within a manufacturing and production environment. You will identify and access the learning needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with Subject Matter Experts and Department Managers. This includes working closely with all departments to evaluate current training, develop floor‑level skills training, and ensure that ASC Engineered Solutions employees are fully equipped to meet expectations related to Safety, Quality, Service, and other company goals and initiatives.

How You Will Help

  • Ensure strategic alignment of learning and development with business goals.
  • Evaluate individuals and organizational performance to ensure learning and development improve productivity and effectiveness in a manufacturing setting.
  • Develop and deliver learning and development solutions that meet business needs, including hands-on, floor‑level skills training for production employees.
  • Partner with Union representatives to ensure alignment between training curriculum, job leveling and skill progression.
  • Optimize learning and development processes for efficiency.
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and external vendors to develop and deliver technical and non-technical training.
  • Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage, and deliver learning and development strategies.
  • Support onboarding and New Hire training with a strong focus on familiarizing employees with manufacturing operations and safety requirements

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Industrial Management, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in training and development in a manufacturing or industrial setting, 7-10 years of total experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing LMS platforms and reporting training metrics.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or programs is preferred.
