Fleet Improvement Engineer

As a Fleet Improvement Engineer within our Fleet Center of Excellence, you will play a pivotal role as an analyst in transforming operational insights from our fleet of vessels into tangible improvements. Your mission is to analyze needs related to data, processes, and organizational workflows, and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation. You will bridge the gap between operational and technical learnings from our fleet organization and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that enhancements are embedded in systems, applications, reports, procedures, and business processes.
Your Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret operational data and requests to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

Turn data into actionable insights by leveraging queries, SQL, Power BI, excel and other analytical tools.

Translate insights and learnings into solutions for processes, organizational structures, and digital applications.

Collaborate with stakeholders across technical, operational, and IT teams to design and implement changes.

Document business requirements and ensure alignment with system capabilities and organizational goals.

Support change management initiatives , ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools.

Monitor and evaluate implemented improvements , refining approaches based on feedback and performance metrics.
Your Profile
-
Degree in Industrial, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in a maritime, technical or relevant environment
-
Solid knowledge of asset management, reliability, maintenance processes and systems (including CMMS), financial workflows, and procurement.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements (SQL, Power BI or similar tools is a plus).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills toalign stakeholders.

Problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach to implementing improvements.
