Summary/objective

The Maintenance Technician assists the facilities team with maintaining the facility, including the exterior grounds, in working order through a system of preventive maintenance and necessary repairs. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for designated repairs and maintenance by following safe practices and consistent, systematic processes and procedures.

• Maintain common areas of the club in safe, working, and clean condition
• Provide support through a regular preventative maintenance schedule that may include: HVAC systems, light electrical, boilers, refrigeration, pool pumps, exercise equipment, roofing and gutters, landscaping, carpentry, and painting
• Assist with exterior grounds maintenance and repairs
• Ensure equipment and tools are in working order and notifies supervisor of any deficiencies
• Respond promptly to all requests for repairs and maintenance as directed
• Notify team and members, in advance when possible, of closure or unavailability of facilities due to necessary repairs & maintenance. Post written notices explaining the problem and expected date of resolution
