What You'll Do In This Role:
Looking for a CNA position with no weekends? Make every day meaningful as a
CNA at LifeCircles PACE, where you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on care to
participants aged 55 and older in a welcoming adult day setting. Through
person-centered support, you’ll help older adults maintain their independence,
dignity, and quality of life while building meaningful connections along the
way. Working closely with the interdisciplinary team, you’ll play an important
role in delivering holistic, high-quality care that promotes safety, comfort,
and well-being for every participant we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Hands-On Care– Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while following the participant's Life Plan.
- Support Mealtime– Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
- Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
- Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
- Provide Responsive Support – Respond with kindness and compassion.
- Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and leadership ASAP.
- Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the State of Michigan from an accredited program.
- At least one year of experience working with the frail elderly, long-term care population, or individuals receiving end-of-life care, preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
- Current CPR certification or willing to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to travel within the service area as needed.
- Physical ability to assist with participant transfers, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain tasks clearly, listen attentively, and interact effectively with older adults and their families.
- Exhibit compassion, professionalism, and high ethical standards when working with participants, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
