To date, we’ve successfully delivered over 7,300 km of transmission lines and completed more than 300 substation projects—and we’re just getting started!
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Transmission & Utilities team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving the commercial success of an exciting project in the renewables space —overseeing contracts, managing risk, and ensuring strong financial outcomes.
Working closely with Project Manager and operational team, you’ll provide strategic commercial leadership across the full project lifecycle while safeguarding company interests and maximising value.
Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial and contract management across the project delivery

Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks in contracts and project execution

Provide expert advice to project teams on contractual and commercial matters

Manage cost, cash flow, forecasting, and financial performance of projects

Oversee contract administration, claims, variations, and dispute resolution

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance frameworks, and legal requirements

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Lead, coach, and develop commercial team members

Support tender reviews, subcontract negotiations, and commercial strategy development
About You
-
Degree or Diploma in Business, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
-
8+ years’ experience in contract/commercial management (ideally within Tier 1 or Tier 2 environments)

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial law, and claims management

Proven experience managing large-scale project financials and budgets

Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
-
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects
