What you’ll do
Our ideal candidate is experienced in civil engineering and enjoys tackling
challenges in transportation, private development, stormwater or hydraulic
modeling. As a Project Engineer, you’ll help with projects that require you to
apply standard practices and techniques. You’ll also:
- Plan and coordinate work.
- Adjust and correlate data.
- Estimate project costs.
- Perform and design technical aspects of engineering projects.
- Recognize discrepancies and follow standard procedures.
- Build client relationships.
- Support construction staff with field changes and clarifications.
- Assist with proposal development and scope definition.
- Coordinate permitting with regulatory agencies under state and local requirements.
- Work effectively under pressure.
- Meet tight deadlines.
What it takes
Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s in engineering. If you have five (5) or
more years of experience in civil design and project work, preferably at a
professional consulting firm, we want to talk. You should be a licensed
professional engineer or able to attain one in six(6) months. Ideally, you
will also:
- Speak and write well.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Be a team player.
