**Job Summary/Description: **
KTIV is seeking an MMJ/reporter to join our award-winning newsteam.
Duties/Responsibilities included (but are not limited to):
- General assignment reporting
- Developing and executing unique content daily in collaboration with newsroom management
- This person must be creative, energetic, competitive, and a problem solver with strong communication skills
- The ideal candidate produces compelling storytelling, photography, and videography that goes beyond "press release reporting."
- Can quickly confirm and bring rapidly developing stories to air and to digital platforms
- Strong on-air delivery and speaking voice
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Excellent writing skills, news judgment, and ethics
- Degree in journalism or a communications-related field
- Experience producing newscasts is preferred but not essential
- Driven to produce enterprising, organic news content
- Understand digital/new media platforms and strategy
- Smooth and effective delivery of content for live broadcasts
- Strong work ethic, organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Integrity, accountability, teamwork
