Manager - International Affairs

The FSRA was established to advocate a progressive financial services environment and uphold the integrity of ADGM. The FSRA’s policies are aligned with internationally recognised standards and ensure that financial entities operate with certainty, market participants thrive in an equal level-playing environment, and the interests of investors are safeguarded.

The FSRA is responsible for the regulation and supervision of Financial Services activities and related Service Providers in ADGM.

The International Affairs – Manager is responsible for supporting the Executive DIrector and the team in monitoring the development and implementation of international relationships with other regulators, supervisors and international organizations to support a diversified and efficient cooperative platform between ADGM and the international regulatory community. Covering asset management, banking, insurance, sustainable finance, fintech and digital assets the Division seeks to develop strong interaction with ADGM’s regulatory and supervisory peers by developing memoranda of understanding and other tools of communication and cooperation. Through its membership in international standards setting bodies it also ensures ADGM’s contribution to and compliance with the highest international standards.

The role also supports and monitors exchange of information between regulators and international regulatory developments for the benefit of other FSRA functions. It maintains oversight of the international regulation landscape to participate in proposed policy changes and identify the impact of such changes.

**Strategic responsibilities **

  • Provide support to the Executive Director and the Team for activities in relation to international cooperation.

Operational responsibilities

  • Assist the conduct of research on international regulatory developments in relation to the Regulatory Digest
  • Draft input and briefs on regulatory topics in relation to working groups and international delegation visits
  • Draft professional records from meetings with internal and external FSRA counterparts
  • Assist the logging and monitoring of the exchange of information between all Regulators and the FSRA
  • Assist the logging and monitoring of the memoranda of understanding between all Regulators and the FSRA
  • Deliver additional tasks that may be delegated from the Executive Director

Information Security related

  • Understand, adopt, adhere and practice responsibilities or controls as per ADGM Information Security policy and as per best practices explained in the induction and awareness sessions.
  • Confidentiality, Integrity and availability of the ADGM Information shall be maintained at all times i.e. within as well as outside ADGM.

Education

  • Master’s Degree

  • Demonstrate technical skills in policy and/or cooperation
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical and organisation skills
