Here is What Your day May Consist of:

As an integral member of our medical team, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver compassionate nursing care to canine and feline patients
  • Obtain patient histories and perform physical assessments
  • Safely handle and restrain patients with a Fear Free approach whenever possible
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
  • Place intravenous catheters and perform venipuncture
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia
  • Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic radiographs
  • Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and home care
  • Collaborate with teammates to provide outstanding patient care and an exceptional client experience

Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:

  • Current Pennsylvania Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous veterinary experience preferred
  • Strong technical nursing and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and client education skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, collaborative team player
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when necessary
