• Troubleshoot and quickly resolve
technical issues related to production equipment during
broadcasts.
• Assist the Production Lead in
organizing and preparing technical elements for special events and breaking

quality.
• Maintain effective technical
communication with the newsroom and engineering departments to ensure systems
are operational.
• Perform routine checks and basic
maintenance on studio and control room equipment, reporting complex issues to
engineering.
• Commit to continuous, high-quality
technical support for live coverage of breaking news and community
events.
Requirements:
• Associate’s
degree or equivalent technical training in broadcasting, media production, or
a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of hands-on
television broadcast or live production experience
preferred.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and
proficiency in operating production control room
equipment.
• Hands-on expertise with news production
tools, vMix, audio mixers, studio lighting, teleprompter systems, and robotic
studio cameras.
• Strong attention to detail and
ability to perform tasks accurately under time
pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for
coordinating technical cues in high-pressure, live
situations.
• Ability to maintain composure and
adaptability during breaking news and high-stakes
events.
• Commitment to teamwork and technical
excellence.
• Quick reaction skills for error
correction during live broadcasts.
• Flexibility to
work in a 24/7/365 operation, including various shifts, nights, weekends, and
holidays.
At WBNS-TV, we rely on our Production Coordinators to be the
backbone of our daily broadcasts, ensuring that our content reaches the
