About the role
As Technology Sales Representative you are responsible for supporting sales growth and customer adoption of livestock monitoring and identification solutions within your territory. You build strong relationships with dairy farmers and key influencers, understand their needs, and offer practical, technology-driven solutions to improve farm performance.
By managing your territory effectively, you work towards achieving sales targets and keep track of activities and opportunities in CRM systems. By staying curious and continuously learning about our products and the industry, you develop into a trusted advisor for your customers.
Working closely with colleagues across teams, you contribute to customer success, support sales initiatives, and represent the organization at farm visits and events. Your proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and passion for agriculture help you grow both your impact and your career in sales.
This role involves extensive travel (up to 75%), including overnight stays when required
Tasks and responsabilties include but are not limited to
- Drive sales success by working towards and exceeding your monthly, quarterly, and annual targets within your assigned territory.
- Plan and manage your territory effectively, building a strong pipeline and developing relationships with key influencers such as veterinarians and nutritionists.
- Stay organized and focused, managing your time and priorities to keep sales activities on track and anticipate future opportunities.
- Build and grow key accounts, developing strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities to optimize farm performance through our solutions.
- Continuously develop your product knowledge by participating in training and staying up to date on our innovations.
- Represent the business in the field, organizing and attending trade shows, farm visits, and events to strengthen our market presence.
- Leverage CRM tools (Salesforce) to accurately track customer interactions, opportunities, and territory plans.
- Engage customers proactively, tailoring solutions to their needs, gathering feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
Your profile
- Passion for dairy farming and an interest in agriculture and technology; experience in dairy or agritech is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal science or equivalent work experience.
- Commercially driven, with a motivation to achieve results and grow in a sales environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with customers and stakeholders.
- Clear communicator with good interpersonal skills; fluent in Italiane and comfortable in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Curious and eager to learn, with the ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions
- Proactive, well-organized, and able to manage your territory, priorities, and time effectively.
- Analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to turn insights into practical actions.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
