This supervisory position will be stationed at and primarily serve the Work Release Center (WRC) of 7th Judicial District Iowa Department of Corrections. This community based correctional center provides an important intermediate step for criminal justice involved persons who desire to re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. This position is one of two that serve the WRC. The primary responsibilities for this position are to supervise second shift Residential Officers and to oversee onboarding of newly hired Residential Officers throughout the district.
