Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)

Are you passionate about helping pets and the people who love them? Pearland Pet Health Center is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our veterinary hospital.

What You'll Do

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate hospital workflows.
  • Check clients in and out while ensuring accurate medical records.
  • Process payments and maintain financial transactions.
  • Educate clients on hospital services, wellness programs, and preventive care recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and other team members.
  • Manage emails, appointment reminders, and client follow-up communications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Support the hospital team with administrative and operational tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous customer service, receptionist, or veterinary experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using computers, practice management software, and standard office equipment.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate during emotional or stressful situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Veterinary reception or animal care experience.
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology.
  • Experience with veterinary practice management software.
  • Cash handling and scheduling experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a busy veterinary hospital environment with exposure to animals, cleaning products, and varying noise levels.
