Summer Intern

Primary Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting branch operations, processes, and procedures under direction of the Branch Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Assisting Rental Counter, Service, Parts, Drivers, Inside Sales and Yard personnel with daily operational tasks.
- Serving as a departmental runner, supporting workflow and communication between departments.
- Assisting with inventory counts, organization, and tracking of equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Supporting equipment preparation activities, including cleaning, inspecting, fueling, and staging smaller equipment for rental readiness.
- Assisting drivers with loading, unloading, securing, and preparing deliveries while following all safety guidelines.
- Supporting service technicians with shop organization, tool management, parts retrieval, and general housekeeping.
- Assisting yard personnel with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility.
- Participating in branch-wide cleaning, organization, and continuous improvement projects.
- Learning company procedures, safety practices, and operational processes through direct observation and hands-on experience.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support branch operations.
Requirements
Required Experience / Education

Physical:
- Must be willing to work in a warehouse and outside environment which includes routine walking, talking, sitting, standing, seeing, and the capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Tolerant to working in an atmosphere with some exposure to cold, heat, noise, fumes and dust.
