Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
- Perform technical skills including:
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Radiology (X-rays)
- Laboratory sample collection and processing
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
- Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, and oral)
- Provide patient monitoring and nursing care
- Educate pet owners on treatment plans, preventive care, and at-home care
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Veterinary Technician experience required (CVT/LVT/RVT preferred but not required)
- Strong technical and clinical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Passion for animal care and client education
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
