ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS:
- Give 110% effort towards Customer Service at all times; this includes maintaining a well-kept dining room and providing hospitality with great attentiveness.
- Present menus appropriately and take orders from patrons for food and beverage on order slips or by memorization; add orders to computer and send to the kitchen.
- Understand and explain how various items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods; pay attention to requests for special dietary preferences.
- Periodically check on tables in designated section; take action to correct problems.
- Itemize and total meal costs and sales tax to prepare checks; collect payments from customers.
- Check identification for minimum age requirements of alcoholic beverage consumption.
- Remove dishes and glasses form tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
- Special tasks as assigned by Supervisor and Manager.
