Warehouse Distribution Administrator

Positiohjn Title: Warehouse Distribution Administrator

**POSITION SUMMARY **

Maintain accurate record keeping of all inbound / outbound shipments, production, and inventory according to distribution procedures for the Ohio North American distribution facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare UPS shipping tags for all outgoing orders.
  • Record and accept all shipments coming into warehouse via company inventory system.
  • Produce pallet sheets and file for inventory purposes.
  • Compile hard copies of all orders and maintain a file system.
  • Supply manifest for route truck driver to each installer location.
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventory counts of inventory on hand in the warehouse and reconcile to company inventory system.
  • Ensure all office supplies are in stock and order as needed.
  • Assist other warehouse staff in getting orders filled.
  • Support field technicians by sending supplemental & proplenishment shipments ensuring accurately calculated transit time.
  • Sustain office area in a neat a presentable manner.
  • Comply with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Abide by all warehouse safety procedures.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

SKILLS

  • Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 35 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
