Senior Low Carbon Surface Project Expert

As part of our Geothermal & New Energies team, you'll contribute to projects that support decarbonization and sustainable energy use, helping bring geothermal and other low-carbon developments to life while working alongside industry experts and strategic partners.
Your key responsibilities

Coordinate defining engineering scope and design across key disciplines to shape geothermal concepts, ensuring technical and financial feasibility in early project phases.

Collaborate with contractors during design and implementation, to uphold quality and consistency together with delivery in time and within budget.

Drive safety and compliance by ensuring Health, Safety, and Environment standards are kept at all times, reinforcing operational integrity.

Contribute to critical reviews like HAZOPs and SIL assessments, influencing risk mitigation and design robustness.

Support performance optimization through coordination with the customer related to operational and technical matters throughout the asset’s lifecycle.

Oversee and coordinate with all stakeholders the optimal design and operation of geothermal heating systems and other low carbon initiatives, ensuring that tie-ins to customers and work together with the customer are efficient and solution oriented including innovative solutions including the utilization of geothermal energy for cooling solutions.

- Educational Background: You have a University or College degree in technical/ engineering preferably mechanical, petroleum, environmental or chemical fields.
- Professional Experience: Confident and proven practical knowledge in leading energy utilization system designing projects and project management; preferably experienced with interactions with authorities and experienced with permitting procedures as a professional content contributor.
- Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian,
- Customer focus
- Coordinates engineering design reviews and plays an active role in them.
- Capable of checking and validating sizing calculations and piping isometrics.
- Proficiency in P&ID reading and interpretation
- Proven ability to compile facility lists together with the relevant Production Experts.
- Proficiency in AutoCad,
- Experience with Hysys , Olga3D and/or Pipesim modelling is considered an advantage
- Confident MS Office skills
