range of sectors by delivering asbestos surveys and air monitoring, water

Job details
We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a
high performing commercial team within a growing compliance and environmental
services business.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a strong background in TICC (Testing, Inspection, Certification & Compliance) services who understands the importance of technical compliance, relationship management, and consultative sales. We are particularly interested in candidates with exposure to sectors such as Legionella/water hygiene, asbestos, occupational hygiene, environmental compliance, or related technical services.
The role will involve managing a team of six sales professionals, driving performance, supporting business growth, and helping to build long term client relationships across a range of industries.
The role also offers the opportunity to support and collaborate across the wider Celnor Group.
What you will do
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of 6 sales/account management staff.
- Drive team performance against revenue and growth targets.
- Support and mentor the team through coaching, development, and regular performance reviews.
- Develop strategic relationships with new and existing clients.
- Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for growth across compliance service lines.
- Support bid/tender activity and larger commercial opportunities.
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies, incentive schemes, KPI's and commission structures to drive team performance and growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the compliance sector.
- Produce accurate forecasting and reporting for senior leadership.
Who you are
- Previous experience in a Sales Manager or Senior Business Development role.
- Background within TICC, compliance, environmental, or technical services sectors.
- Exposure to one or more of the following areas:
- Legionella / Water Hygiene
- Asbestos
- Occupational Hygiene
- Environmental Compliance
- Health & Safety Services
- Experience managing or mentoring sales teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and consultative sales approach.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop people.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, growing business environment.
