We are currently seeking a LOGISTICS COORDINATOR to join our team at
the corporate Sugar Land, Texas office. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods across domestic and international supply chains, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective transportation. You’ll work closely with carriers, warehouses, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly and resolve issues as they arise.
Location: Sugar Land, TX
Type: Onsite, 5 days a week. No option for remote or hybrid
Duties/Responsibilities
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordination of inbound/outbound transportation for raw and finished goods

Plan and execute domestic and international shipments (air, ocean, truck, and LTL) from booking through final delivery

Work with carriers, freight forwarders, steamship lines, and NVOCCs to secure capacity at competitive, market-driven rates

Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or issues to internal stakeholders

Partner with customs broker to ensure accurate and compliant import/export documentation

Audit freight invoices and support payment processing

Select transportation modes and carriers to balance cost, service, and timely deliveries

Maintain and follow transportation and distribution procedures

Generate and analyze reports on carrier performance and vendor scorecards

Support freight RFPs and carrier sourcing initiatives

Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Sales, and other internal teams
-
Provide backup support to other Logistics team members as needed
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate shall possess the following:
-
3+ years' experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience preferred
-
Hands-on experience with international shipping (Air and Ocean)

Experience with freight documentation, customs processes, HTS codes, and Incoterms
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment

Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office programs
-
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Adept in cross-platform systems and workflow synchronization

Able to manage a high volume of communication with internal and external partners
