*About the role*

We are looking for an *Accounting Specialist with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with day-to-day accounting operations, strong attention to detail, and practical experience using NetSuite*.

In this role, you will support and manage key accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and efficient Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations.

*What we are looking for*

You are a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional who is comfortable working independently and managing day-to-day accounting processes. You have a structured approach to your work, take ownership of your responsibilities, and are able to investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. You enjoy working with numbers, improving processes, and collaborating with different teams to ensure accurate and reliable financial information.

*Main responsibilities*

  • Process and maintain *Accounts Payable (A/P)* transactions, including invoices, vendor records, payment documentation, and expense-related entries.
  • Perform regular *bank reconciliations* , investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
  • Maintain and update *Accounts Receivable (A/R)* records, including customer accounts, invoices, receipts, and outstanding balances.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and support the follow-up of overdue balances.
  • Ensure accounting data is accurately recorded and properly documented in *NetSuite*.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and the preparation of accounting reports.
  • Review financial transactions to ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting policies.
  • Support the Finance team with ad hoc analyses, reporting, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve accounting-related questions and discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and maintain accurate financial documentation.

*Requirements*

  • *2 to 5 years of relevant experience* in accounting, finance operations, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with *Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations*.
  • Practical experience using *NetSuite*.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Experience in a fast-paced or international environment.
  • Experience supporting month-end close processes.
  • Knowledge of multi-currency transactions.
  • Experience working with process improvements or accounting automation.
