The Role

As Marketing & Business Development Assistant, you will provide key administrative and operational support to the Marketing & Business Development team, contributing to a range of client development, marketing and business growth initiatives. Working within a fast-paced professional services environment, you will support events, pitches, CRM activity, research and marketing operations, helping to drive brand awareness, client engagement and business development activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day marketing and business development activities across the team
  • Maintain CRM records, contact lists and client engagement information
  • Coordinate travel, logistics and scheduling for meetings, events and marketing trips
  • Assist with the preparation of pitches, presentations and client-facing materials
  • Maintain marketing collateral, website content and online biographies
  • Conduct market, client and competitor research to support business development initiatives
  • Support the coordination of events, including logistics and on-site assistance
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing and wider administrative support

What is Necessary for Success

  • Previous experience within marketing, business development or professional services support
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Good research and analytical capability
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using CRM systems is advantageous
