Product Engineer CBU3 (m/f/d)

• All following responsibility is related to Fuel, SCR and Pentatonic products
• Assisting Sr. Engineer
• Develop customer product from first system concept through quote,
prototyping, validation and towards a fully released product in mass
production
• Ensure proactive requirements and risk management for all technical aspects
• Ensure that customer specifications as well as cost targets, design-to-
manufacture and timing goals are met
• Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific requirements
• Seek for and achieve customers’ buy in to utilize standardized development
and validation testing, if and where useful and applicable
• Act as technical liaison between product development teams and the customer
and all other internal functions like design, Program Management, Purchasing,
Manufacturing, Sales and Finance to achieve CBU3 objectives.
• Supervise product testing including handling of hazardous substances,
interpretation of test results, introduction of the necessary actions and
modifications as required to ensure that all requirements are met
• Support flawless launches by planning and controlling all technical issues
related to assigned project and support the Program Manager in delivering
highest quality solutions to our customers
• Provide product engineering expertise in a professional manner during
customer visits and audits, with the team as well as in collaboration with
other departments (e.g. manufacturing)
• Act as a Technical Project Lead Engineer with responsibility for a technical
team in small/medium complex projects
• Actively contribute to reduce costs and obtain customer information to win
the new business
• Actively contribute to create new digital opportunities, improvement action
to reduce time and/or cost
• Actively contribute to drive CO2 reduction, PCR material adoption,
sustainability activities
