Responsibilities:
- Load raw parts and materials into machines safely and efficiently.
- Operate and activate machinery to cut or process parts according to job specifications.
- Unload finished parts from the machine and perform necessary finishing work, such as deburring.
- Conduct basic quality inspections to ensure parts meet visual and dimensional standards.
- Stack, package, or place completed parts onto pallets for transport or storage.
- Communicate production progress and any issues to the next shift leader or supervisor.
- Accurately record job times and daily production data.
- Load parts into weld fixtures as required.
- Operate overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Regularly lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift.
- Maintain awareness of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.
- Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Basic math, measurement, and inspection skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and communicate effectively across shifts.
