Responsibilities

• Greeted guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a refined first impression aligned with fine dining standards
• Managed reservations using OpenTable/Resy, ensuring accurate seating and minimal wait times
• Coordinated guest flow with management and service staff to maintain smooth dining operations
• Communicated clearly with servers and kitchen staff regarding table status, special requests, and pacing
• Maintained an organized and elegant host stand and entrance area at all times
• Accommodated VIPs, special occasions, and guest preferences with discretion and attention to detail
• Handled guest inquiries, modifications, and concerns with poise and a solutions-oriented mindset

• Monitored dining room capacity to maximize efficiency while preserving an upscale guest experience

• Upheld brand standards, dress code, and hospitality etiquette in a high-pressure environment

• Clearly communicate with servers, other restaurant employees and supervisors/management regarding regular service, special requests, service issues, and any other important information.
• Move tables and chairs throughout the restaurant as needed.
• Anticipate the needs of guest's and co-workers instantaneously
• Stocking items for restaurant and cleaning on an as need basis

Preferred Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
• Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register POS system and Microsoft based computer systems such as Open Table.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English
• Pleasant phone demeanor.
• experience in a fast-paced high-end restaurant.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
