Position Overview
The Tax Analyst will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax
compliance and reporting for Ireland while supporting treasury-related
activities. The role will manage tax filings, reconciliations, statutory
reporting, tax accounting, and coordination with internal and external
stakeholders to ensure compliance with Irish Revenue requirements and company
policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare and submit all direct and indirect tax returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.
- Support the preparation and filing of:
- VAT Returns
- Corporation Tax Returns
- Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) returns, where applicable
- Withholding Tax filings
- Intrastat and VIES reporting
- Statistical and regulatory submissions
- Ensure compliance with Irish Revenue regulations and internal tax policies.
- Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and audit trails for all tax filings.
Tax Accounting & Reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax account reconciliations.
- Calculate and record tax provisions and deferred tax adjustments where required.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations related to tax accounts.
- Review tax-related general ledger balances and investigate variances.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to taxation and treasury activities.
Financial Close Support
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in tax reporting for budget, forecast, and actual reporting cycles.
- Analyze tax variances against budgets and forecasts.
- Support annual statutory accounts preparation from a tax perspective.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, FP&A;, Legal, and other business functions.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, accountants, and Irish Revenue authorities as required.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing documentation and explanations.
Statutory & Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare and submit statutory statistical returns including:
- VIES Returns
- Intrastat Returns
- Central Statistics Office (CSO) reporting
- Ensure adherence to all filing deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and efficiencies.
- Support automation and standardization initiatives within tax and treasury operations.

Skills & Experience
· 3-6 years of experience in taxation, tax accounting, or finance. ·
Experience with Irish VAT, Corporation Tax, VIES, and Intrastat reporting. ·
Experience in multinational or Shared Service Centre environments preferred. ·
Exposure to SAP, Oracle, JDE, Dynamics, or other ERP systems preferred. ·
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field. ·
Professional qualification mandatory (ACA , ACCA , CIMA , CPA Ireland, CTA
(Irish Tax Institute) · Strong understanding of Irish tax regulations and
compliance requirements. · Tax accounting and reconciliation expertise. ·
Advanced Excel skills. · Financial reporting and analysis. · ERP and tax
reporting systems knowledge. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· UK Shift: 12:30-10 PM/1:30-11 PM IST
