AACA is a *Nonpublic School (NPS) serving students ages 5 to 22* with severe behavioral and developmental needs. Our mission is to provide individualized instruction and therapeutic support to help each student reach their fullest potential in a structured, compassionate environment. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:45AM-3:15PM 30 hours a week which is our fulltime hours.

*What You’ll Do*

Support students with academic, social, and daily living skills.

Assist with *toileting, hygiene, and feeding* needs.

Help manage and de-escalate *aggressive physical behaviors* using approved techniques.

Utilize *Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies* and follow individualized behavior plans.

Follow classroom management plans and behavior support strategies.

Collect *data* on student progress and behaviors.

Be *consistent, patient, and a team player* in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

*What We’re Looking For*

Experience with special needs or behavioral support preferred.

Open to learning and using *applied behavioral techniques*.

Able to remain calm and follow through during challenging situations.

Friendly, outgoing, and communicates well with staff and students.

Physically able to assist with personal care and behavioral interventions.

Have no physical restrictions and can lift up to 50 pounds.

Full time availability Monday-Friday 8:45am-3:15pm (30 hours a week are our fulltime hours)
