WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR

This is a part-time position for the Department of Parks and Recreation. Work involves instructing, leading, demonstrating and organizing classes and competitions in water safety, life saving procedures, swimming, and/or other similar programs. Supervision would be received from the Parks Aquatic Coordinator or designee. The exercise of independent judgment is expected within the limits of established guidelines and assigned authority. An employee in this position must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
