As regulatory requirements continue to drive demand across the industry, the Pharmacy Pro team is growing quickly and building scalable support and onboarding processes for a high-volume customer environment.

About the Role

The Senior Platform Engineer owns the design, implementation, and operation of the company's cloud platform and the infrastructure-as-code that defines it. This role is accountable for the reliability, observability, cost efficiency, and deployability of production infrastructure, and serves as the senior technical authority on cloud and DevOps practice for the engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain production cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, identity, data services, and the security controls governing them.
  • Own the infrastructure-as-code codebase end to end: module design, state management, environment promotion, drift detection, and remediation. Ensure infrastructure changes are reviewable, repeatable, and auditable.
  • Design and manage Kubernetes clusters.
  • Own infrastructure observability: metrics, logs, alerts, and dashboards to ensure production issue are detectable and diagnosable before escalation.
  • Participate in production incident response as an escalation point, lead root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Own cloud cost management: perform recurring cost analysis to identify cost savings and establish forecasts.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and the deployment strategies they execute.
  • Own deployment process and participate in deployments.
  • Mentor engineers on cloud architecture and DevOps practice.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering, with demonstrated ownership of production systems.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Azure, including experience in compute, networking, identity, and data storage.
  • Production-grade proficiency with infrastructure-as-code.
  • Demonstrated experience administering a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and operation CI/CD pipelines and controlled deployment strategies for production workloads.
  • Demonstrated experience with observability platforms such as Datadog.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and acting as a technical reviewer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with regulated environments (ex: SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
  • Relevant cloud certifications.
  • Experience with database management.
