Position Summary
This role owns the Retail Pharmacy vertical for LSPedia. The individual is responsible for developing the market strategy, generating new ARR, and serving as LSPedia's commercial leader within the retail pharmacy industry.
The Retail Pharmacy Vertical Director manages the complete enterprise sales cycle while providing market leadership across Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success. Although this position has no direct reports, it plays a critical leadership role in developing go-to-market strategies, coordinating account plans, and achieving the revenue goals across the retail pharmacy market.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth
- Own and achieve the ARR targets for the Retail Pharmacy vertical.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for national, regional, specialty, grocery, health system, and independent pharmacies.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline that supports predictable revenue growth.
- Manage the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
- Build executive relationships and negotiate complex enterprise agreements.
Vertical Leadership
- Serve as LSPedia's market expert for retail pharmacy.
- Provide indirect leadership to Account Executives and BDRs by developing vertical sales strategies, coordinating account planning, and identifying market opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering to improve market penetration and customer outcomes.
- Share customer and competitive intelligence to influence product strategy and go-to-market initiatives.
Customer & Industry Engagement
- Represent LSPedia at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Develop relationships with industry associations, wholesalers, consultants, and strategic partners.
- Position LSPedia as a trusted advisor on DSCSA compliance, pharmacy operations, and supply chain technology.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of enterprise SaaS or healthcare technology sales experience.
- 5+ years selling into retail pharmacy organizations.
- Proven success selling complex enterprise solutions with multiple stakeholders.
- Established executive relationships within the retail pharmacy industry.
- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and healthcare technology.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive relationship skills.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pharmacy technology, pharmaceutical supply chain, or DSCSA compliance.
- Existing relationships with national retail pharmacy chains, wholesalers, or pharmacy technology vendors.
