Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

As a Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will play an essential role in keeping our hospital running smoothly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with safe and compassionate animal restraint during examinations and treatments
  • Supporting veterinary technicians and veterinarians with daily patient care needs
  • Filling medications and assisting with prescription requests
  • Stocking treatment and exam rooms with necessary supplies
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, including completing daily cleaning and organization tasks
  • Preparing rooms and equipment for appointments and procedures
  • Providing excellent client service and professional communication with pet owners
  • Assisting with additional hospital duties as needed

  • Passion for animal health and patient care

  • Previous veterinary, animal care, kennel, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
