Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
As a Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will play an essential role in keeping our hospital running smoothly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with safe and compassionate animal restraint during examinations and treatments
- Supporting veterinary technicians and veterinarians with daily patient care needs
- Filling medications and assisting with prescription requests
- Stocking treatment and exam rooms with necessary supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, including completing daily cleaning and organization tasks
- Preparing rooms and equipment for appointments and procedures
- Providing excellent client service and professional communication with pet owners
- Assisting with additional hospital duties as needed
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Passion for animal health and patient care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Confidence interacting with clients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary environment

- Previous veterinary, animal care, kennel, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
