Physical Therapist
Hagerstown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing education to patients, families, and rehabilitation staff. You will also maintain accurate records, participate in continuing education programs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, screen, and treat patients who need physical therapy services
• Review medical charts and develop treatment plans in accordance with patient
needs
• Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and education of
treatment staff
• Provide necessary supervision for therapy assistants
• Maintain accurate billing information and confidentiality of medical records
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and family meetings as appropriate
Requirements:
• Bachelor's, Master's, and/or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an
Accredited Program
• Current state license
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Competency in therapy treatment and evaluation principles, techniques, and
materials and equipment utilization
• Knowledge of state and federal accreditation
