About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team in Romania. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, analysed, and translated into effective digital and operational solutions.

You will play a key role in driving process improvements, supporting strategic initiatives, and delivering data-driven insights that enhance decision-making across the organisation.

What we need from you

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
  • Support Agile delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and UX teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Assist in data analysis and reporting , enabling informed business decisions.
  • Contribute to UAT (User Acceptance Testing) , ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of requirements and processes.
  • Ensure alignment with Reconomy’s Recycle, Comply, and Re-use loops.

What We’re Looking For


Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or digital environment.
  • Strong skills in requirements elicitation and documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with process modelling (e.g., BPMN, UML).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
  • Fluency in English.


Desirable:

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL).
  • Exposure to SaaS or digital platforms.
  • Understanding of sustainability or circular economy concepts.
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
  • Experience working in international or multi-brand environments.
