Director of Plant Operations

Job Type: Direct Hire - Full Time

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Director of Plant Operations to lead the next phase of performance transformation. Ideal candidates must have 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a high-throughput environment, be tech-savvy, and have experience working in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production environments
  • Ensure safety, quality, throughput, and schedule adherences
  • Drive the adoption of a new, integrated ERP system into daily floor execution
  • Establish digital work-flows
  • Build KPI dashboards and a performance cadence
  • Identify and address bottlenecks, constraints, waste, and inefficiencies
  • Reduce changeover time, scrap, rework, and schedule volatility
  • Manage, lead, coach, and develop a diverse workforce
  • Implement structured management routines

Qualifications

Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Equivalent, hands-on experience with a strong process engineering foundations can be substituted for degree

Experience Required

  • 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a high-throughputs environment
  • Demonstrated track record of driving measurable efficiency gains
  • Experience successfully implementing an ERP system ( SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Strong drive to ensure data and strategic KPIs
  • Lean/Six Sigma preferred
