The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Director of Plant Operations to lead the next phase of performance transformation. Ideal candidates must have 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a high-throughput environment, be tech-savvy, and have experience working in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production environments
- Ensure safety, quality, throughput, and schedule adherences
- Drive the adoption of a new, integrated ERP system into daily floor execution
- Establish digital work-flows
- Build KPI dashboards and a performance cadence
- Identify and address bottlenecks, constraints, waste, and inefficiencies
- Reduce changeover time, scrap, rework, and schedule volatility
- Manage, lead, coach, and develop a diverse workforce
- Implement structured management routines
Qualifications
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Equivalent, hands-on experience with a strong process engineering foundations can be substituted for degree
Experience Required
- 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a high-throughputs environment
- Demonstrated track record of driving measurable efficiency gains
- Experience successfully implementing an ERP system ( SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong drive to ensure data and strategic KPIs
- Lean/Six Sigma preferred
