Position Summary
The IT Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the company’s information technology operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all systems and infrastructure. This role leads IT resources, manages technology projects, and ensures alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary liaison to Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure effective IT operations
- Oversee system uptime, backups, patching, and infrastructure health
- Monitor MSP performance, SLAs, and issue resolution
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and compliance (including CMMC)
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk monitoring
- Manage user access, identity management, and security training
- Lead and optimize business systems including ERP (Epicor), engineering tools, and other platforms
- Partner with business units to improve systems and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain system documentation, integrations, and user training
- Own and manage CMMC compliance program and related documentation
- Manage IT budget, procurement, vendors, and asset lifecycle
- Plan and execute IT projects (upgrades, migrations, implementations)
- Ensure high-quality helpdesk and end-user support
- Lead IT integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions
