Manager – International Cruise Operations

The role demands a strategic leader who can oversee the end-to-end process of new port development, from operations design and procurement to financial management and operational readiness, while coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders. The manager will be accountable for delivering expansion projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Core Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of operational frameworks for new international cruise ports while implementing best practices and standard operating procedures, ensuring the operational models align with company objectives and international standards.

Oversee the execution of international cruise port expansion projects, ensuring delivery within budget, scope, and timelines.

Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Coordinate with internal project teams and external partners to ensure project alignment and success.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to international cruise operations. And facilitate cross-functional collaboration among departments such as procurement, finance, and operations.

Oversee the procurement, finance, and IT related activities that is aligned with the delivery of the cruise expansions.

Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting for international cruise operations projects.

Develop and implement operational readiness plans for new cruise ports. And drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, such as cruise lines, cruise port operators, port & travel agencies, and government officials, in various international markets.

Monitor and report on the performance of international cruise projects, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of international port, logistics, and maritime sectors, including market dynamics, key players, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Familiarity with various transportation modes, such as shipping, rail, and road, and their integration in the global supply chain.

People Management Responsibilities:

Lead, inspire, and motivate the business development teams and streams, setting clear expectations, objectives, and targets.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the business development team, setting KPIs, and holding team members accountable for achieving their goals. Address performance issues promptly and constructively.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring alignment between the international strategy team and other departments within the organization.

Strategic Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of the organization's overall strategic vision, ensuring that international growth strategies align with and support the broader organizational goals of ADPG.

Engage with industry thought leaders, staying current on best practices and trends in the port, logistics, and maritime sectors.

Represent the organization at international conferences, events, and trade shows to promote the organization's brand and establish its presence in the global market.
Educational and Technical Qualifications:| • Bachelor’s degree in business
administration, International Business, Maritime Management, Logistics, Supply
Chain Management, or a related field.• A Masters’ degree, such as an MBA or
master’s in international business is highly preferred.• A Project
Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is a plus.

Years of Experience:|
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in the Ports, Logistics, and Maritime industries
- Demonstrated track record of successfully overseeing international Experience.
