Role Description:
Assist the Standardization Pilot with the implementing the organizations Aircrew Training Program, ATP. Responsible for conducting Rotary Wing, RW crew member training and evaluations, administration of standardization program, i.e. flight records, Air Wing Information System, AWIS, publications and references. Monitors flight instruction to include aircraft transition training, annual proficiency reviews, and flight evaluations. Plan flight assignments and obtain information regarding the purpose of the flight, weather, operating procedures and special instructions. Prepare or supervise preparation of flight plans, considering such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise data, airport facilities and navigational aids. This position is located outside of the Continental United States, OCONUS.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Standardization Pilot in the administration of the standardization program, ensuring adherence to qualification training, annual proficiency reviews, and flight evaluations.

Qualify, train and evaluate rotary wing rated and non-rated crew members in both single and multi-ship missions, including Day, Night, Night Vision Goggle, NVG operations, primarily under Visual Meteorological Conditions, VMC.

Document crew member performance and develop individual flight training plans tailored to support the organizations mission and Aircrew Training Program, ATP.

Serve as an active member of the INLA Standardization Committee to uphold training standards and compliance.

Oversee the scheduling and management of crew member training, in order to provide safe and effective aviation support for Department of State OCONUS mission.

Conduct in-depth academic, flight training and evaluations that ensure crew member proficiency and standardization, and compliance with INLA standards, directives, manuals, and technical orders across training and operational activities.

Monitor crew member proficiency across all mission planning and flight operation phases to ensure alignment with policies and directives.

Ensure accurate maintenance of crew member flight records, including entries into the AWIS, and conduct thorough risk assessments.

Maintain current knowledge of changes and additions to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs and essential documentation integral to contract operations.

Maintain NVG currency and instrument proficiency, performing duties as Pilot, Pilot-in-Command, Instructor Pilot, Air Mission Commander, and or Flight Lead as required.

Execute additional aviation duties and responsibilities as assigned.
