SUMMARY:
This is a hands-on supervisory position. The Production Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in manufacturing processes, such as assembling, welding, and applying knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday- Friday Day Shift
- 9/80 schedule- every other Friday scheduled off!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of an assigned production team to meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of production employees
- Complete timekeeping approvals and conduct performance evaluations in accordance with company policy
- Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction through oversight of fabrication, testing, inspections, and material control
- Maintain accurate production documentation, including manufacturing travelers and inspection records
- Monitor incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products for quality and compliance
- Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow
- Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and work procedures
- Foster a clean, organized, and collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and accountability
