Under the general supervision of Sergeants, Lieutenants, Commanders and the Police Chief, this position provides police protection and law enforcement services within the City. Within this classification of Police Officer an employee may serve in any of the following positions: SRO, K-9 Officer, Field Training Officer, Detective, Training and Recruitment Coordinator, Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, Traffic Safety Coordinator and any other special position designated by the Chief of Police.
