🩺 About the Role

Are you a compassionate nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment?

Centerstone is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Crisis Center team in Kirksville, MO. In this role, you’ll provide essential nursing care to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges and substance use disorders.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to deliver integrated, whole- person care across crisis stabilization, residential services, outpatient psychiatry, and recovery support—helping clients take meaningful steps toward healing.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer medications (oral, injectable, and self-administered)
  • Conduct physical and mental health assessments
  • Complete psychiatric screenings and documentation
  • Monitor medication inventory and coordinate refills
  • Collaborate with providers and communicate medication needs
  • Assist with lab work and phlebotomy
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the EHR
  • Support infection control and hygiene practices
  • Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary care planning

🎓 What You’ll Bring

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active LPN or RN license in Missouri
  • Preferred: Experience in behavioral health or substance use care
  • Strong documentation and EHR skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to interpret medical information and lab results
  • Commitment to confidential, compassionate care
