Vault Cashier

This role is responsible for processing and verifying vendor machine cash and coins.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive deposits from vending staff.
- Opens and verifies contents of shipment against receipt.
- Separates out and counts cash and coins.
- Consolidates multiple locations' currency.
- Prepares deposit slips.
- Prepares reports as required.
- Maintains accurate accounting and audit trails for all funds following company policies and procedures.
- Continuously seeks to improve efficiency and processes.
- Makes recommendations, gains approval, and implements changes.
- Performs other duties as requested by management.
- Supports a service-oriented environment that leads others to improve their service actions.
- Maintains positive attitude with co-workers and vendors.
- Portrays enthusiasm to each customer/vendor.
- Follows through with action when special requests are made.
- Promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free and healthy work environment.
- Consistently seeks to learn other functions and assists team members as needed.
- Maintains positive and professional image.
- Arrives to work on time and ready to work.
- Ensures integrity and honestly in handling large volumes of money.
- Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least two years of previous related experience.
