Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment to produce parts to specification
- Maintain consistent communication across departments and production areas
- Delegate workload appropriately and support training of new team members
- Ensure quality and safety procedures are understood and followed at all times
- Complete corrective action documentation when deviations occur
- Operate a Hi-Lo (HILO certification required; administered by UDM Health & Safety)
- Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and wear required PPE throughout all tasks
- Adhere to all company and safety policies; complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Hi-Lo certification (or ability to obtain upon hire through UDM Health & Safety)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
- Collaborative team player with solid communication habits
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
