TxDOT's Bridge Division – Design Section – Shop Drawing Review is looking to hire a – Transport Engineer Spec I, II, III, or IV based in Austin, TX. In the Bridge Division – Design Section, we oversee activities pertaining to the creation of in-house bridge, railing, and traffic structures design, and plan preparation; intelligent 3D bridge modeling; research implementation; bridge standards development; historic bridge preservation; bridge design policy; and shop drawing review. This individual will review shop drawings for bridge and traffic structural elements, coordinate reviews by others, and help maintain the shop drawing review database.
