Construction Foreman Crew Lead

_Pay Range: $30.00-$40.00 an hour, depending on experience _
We're looking for a reliable, safety‑minded worker who knows how to handle trucks and trailers and isn't afraid to jump in and help the crew. This role is more than just driving--you'll also support installers on the ground, communicate with the GC, and serve as the competent person who can direct, lead, and motivate the team. If you take pride in doing things the right way and keeping equipment in top shape, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate pickup trucks with trailers and 26‑ft box trucks
- Confidently back trailers into tight jobsites
- Properly hitch trailers and verify brake controller settings
- Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections
- Secure all equipment and materials
- Assist crews with setup and breakdown
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles
- Follow all safety and driving policies (NO phone use while driving)
- Communicate professionally with the General Contractor and represent the company on-site
- Act as the competent person who can direct, support, and motivate crews
- Step in to help installers when needed--not just drive
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License (non‑CDL)
- Legally eligible to maintain a driver's license
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Proven experience towing large trailers
- Ability to back trailers confidently
- English‑speaking and reliable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
- Comfortable taking initiative and supporting field crews
Physical Demands
This job involves regular physical work, including standing, walking, bending,
climbing in and out of trucks, and moving around active job sites. You'll need
to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds, handle tools and tie‑downs, and work
outdoors in all kinds of weather. Safe driving, clear communication, and good
vision and hearing are important for operating trucks and backing trailers.
