We’re looking for candidates with an interest or knack in solving visual computing problems (computer vision, graphics, CAD, rotating a shape). If enjoy writing code for things you can see, also in a fast paced environment, you’re likely a fit for this role.
As part of our founding visual computing team you may:
- Write novel geometric algorithms to process vector graphics / images
- Develop interactive tools to process images / vector graphics
- Collect data, annotate, and train computer vision models / VLMs
- Write beautiful visualization code for both debugging and for interactive interfaces
Qualifications (none of these are hard requirements)
- Industry experience or projects working on hard problems in computer vision, graphics, or machine learning (with Python / PyTorch)
- Being scrappy (getting things done, over theoretical soundness)
- Publication record in venues like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICCP, ICIP, TPAMI, SIGGRAPH
- Good visual taste / an appreciation for aesthetics
- A reputation for having an “engineering mindset”
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working on CAD, vector graphics
- Interest in manufacturing, engineering, EPC
